Smell

A strange detective surveys the scene of a murder.

This week I’ve made a big change. Most weeks the first draft comes in at about two and a half pages and I end up tightening it down to two and it flows much better and is more concise. But then, on occasion, the first draft comes in at three or four pages, I tighten them down but find that the perfect version of the idea is in fact about two and a half pages long and by tightening it further to two pages it loses something and becomes a worse script.

I have decided that I would rather post a better script than a shorter script so, on these occasions, I will be posting scripts that are a little longer than two pages. Today’s is two and a half, I hope you don’t mind.

Let me know what you think.

  1. This was a really fun read. I was surprised at the turn that the story took, and I think that contributed to making it so fun to read.
