We’re All Bound to Go

Foy is despondent after getting no closer to finding out the identity of his mother but is the truth really what’s important?

So here is the fourth and final part of the Pirate Heart storyline. I have enjoyed writing these four scripts, it’s a story that has been in my head for a long time and I’ve been wanting to write something that tells the same story from different points of view (Rashomonesque) so it has been quite satisfying.

I recommend reading the previous three first if you haven’t already.

I hope you like the final part.

The Drunken Sailor

A young man finds himself in a remote country pub trying the learn the truth about his mother.

Make sure you’ve read last week’s script before reading this one. There are two more to come in this story (which I’m calling Pirate Heart).

Hope you enjoy it.

The Drunken Sailor

Little Fishes

An accident leaves a fisherman stranded on a deserted island.

This story came from a mini-obsession I have with sea shanties (which is odd, I suppose considering I’ve never been a “boat person”). It was written as a longer story a few years ago. Unfortunately the first draft came in at three whole pages and in editing it down I had to amalgamate my paragraphs, leaving big blocks of action text, something I don’t like to do.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it.
