An Audience With Madam Satomi

I noticed once I had written the first draft of this week’s script that it owes a subconscious debt to my good friend Timothy Merks and if you’re familiar with his films you’ll realise why once you read it.

This story was also inspired by my last visit to the local pool. While doing laps I was swimming behind a woman who had a beautiful full-back geisha tattoo. The tattoo gave me the eye every time the swimmer came up for breath and it gave the impression of someone swimming towards me without ever getting closer. So that was weird.

Hope you like it.
